You’ve just discovered a wonderfully tranquil escape located in Montauroux, a beautiful Provence town steeped in history and charm, and situated only 45 minutes from Nice airport.
Located in the Var region of Provence, Montauroux has easy access to locations like Antibes, Cannes, Monaco and St Paul de Vence, as well as the picturesque and lush natural beauty of the Provencal countryside.
Montauroux was founded over 1,000 years ago by the Grimaldi family, who still reign in Monaco today under Prince Albert. Montauroux was also home to the world-famous fashion designer Christian Dior.
Explore the many beaches, spas, restaurants, galleries and other delights that lie only a short distance away, or alternatively, switch off in our very private heated pool. If a dip in the pool doesn’t relax you, then the views, the rosé and the sound of cicadas are likely to work their magic.

“Wide Open Space provided us with one of the most memorable holidays we've had in recent years. We went away with friends, their baby and our toddler, and yet there was always an abundance of space for the kids (and adults) to occupy themselves in. The pool area was both pretty and peaceful, while also being safe for children, and the al fresco dining area was a firm favourite of the adults after the children had gone to bed. The villa manages to be on the door step of local amenities and the delightful Montauroux, while retaining complete seclusion from any neighbours or limited passing traffic. The location is perfect - only 45mins to Nice airport - and the stylish and minimalist layout of each room gave it a family boutique feel. Wide Open Space comes highly recommended. I'm sure we'll be back”

“The Wide Open Space villa is a perfect spot for a relaxing get-away. The house itself is a beautiful, contemporary space and it has so much natural day-light that we really missed when we came home. The pool is a lovely addition that we used every day. We had our 5 month old son with us and the villa really suited our needs. The beautiful scenery, fabulous accommodation and easy access to lots to see and do made this a truly memorable holiday”
